Hållbarhet 2009—February 3rd - 13, 2009
Hållbarhet: It’s Swedish for ’sustainability’. This event brings together the experience of four years of alumni from the Masters in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability program in Sweden to regroup and share their experiences along with professionals on the forefront of sustainability.
The venue for this exciting learning and sharing experience is a trek through the beautiful and diverse south-east region of Australia.

Our vision of success.
The vision of success for the Hållbarhet convergence 2009 is to re-energise the MSLS Alumni network and to ultimately explore how we increase the impact of the strategic sustainable development 10-fold. In order to achieve this, activities are being designed that:
- Explore the reality of societies now on the movement towards sustainability to identify key needs and leverage points to be explored for the next 5 years to come.
- Explore the nature of the MSLS Alumni Network and choose the best ways of fostering its potential organically, i.e. proposals which will naturally take off, without representing any kind of burden for the participants and/or running the risk of never becoming a reality.
- Provide to the MSLS Alumni more clarity and insights on how to elevate each one’s contribution to society and personal fulfillment within each one’s own particularities – their own environments and realities, their own positions in society and their own unique personal abilities and needs.
The Hållbarhet Retreat—February 7th - 11th, 2009
The Retreat portion of the Hållbarhet is being designed to create documented results on how to scale up the impact of the MSLS Alumni 10-fold. The format of these results will depend on what the Alumni define to be the most appropriate one.
For the preparation of the presentations for the Retreat, we invite those that want to contribute by performing preparatory research in key areas on how to leverage the impact of the MSLS Alumni and presenting their findings in the first part of the retreat. More information on this will follow shortly.
